By mingling their essences and imagination, they explore timeless and fundamental topics such as death, birth, love, silence, and time. Together, they create dance ceremonies infused with ancestral rituals, beliefs and human vulnerabilities.

 

​Mooonstein tells a long story, and each of their creations – like a chapter – offers a mysterious and filmic world carried by vibrant and poetic choreographic scores. Mooonstein invites the audience, guided by allegorical figures, into an immersive and initiatory experience.

 

The company is based in Antwerp (Belgium) and performs in unusual locations, from atypical architectures to the heart of nature.
